Scam phishing text messages and emails impersonating Heritage Bank are currently doing the rounds.
The text messages and emails use Heritage Bank branding and states that you need to verify your account and personal details.
The messages will ask you to click on a link that will take you to website to confirm your personal details.
These phishing messages are designed to capture personal information such as your Heritage member number, passwords and contact information. They may also download malware onto your device.
If you unsuspectingly click on the link, and share information or download you are at risk of having your personal information stolen and having your Heritage Online account accessed by unauthorised persons.
