Heritage Bank has announced it is adopting an updated logo, revealing the fresh design to the public for the first time today.
The launch of the updated logo will coincide with its upcoming branch expansion into Sydney later this month.
Customers will start seeing it soon across Heritage’s digital platforms, including our website and mobile banking app.
The updated logo has a fresher and more modern feel, doing away with the stylized “gates” that were part of the existing logo.
The move to the updated logo won’t happen all at once. Heritage will slowly transition to the updated logo over the next few years to keep the costs and impact of this change to a minimum.
This means there will be a period of time when both logos will be in use.
Heritage Bank CEO Peter Lock emphasised the change is in logo only. Heritage’s “people first” approach to banking and service remains unchanged.
“We’re constantly evolving to meet our customers’ needs. Part of this includes ensuring our brand supports our identity as a business,” Mr Lock said.
“The previous logo has served us well for many years but we wanted to freshen up the look to reflect our image as a modern bank.
“We’ve simplified our logo to better represent what Heritage stands for today – a bank that understands your needs and is easy to do business with.
“We’d like to assure people we are only updating the logo, there is no change to the way we operate. We are still owned by our customers and offer the same exceptional products and services we’re known for.”
