FAQs

What can I loan People First Stadium for?

There’s a huge number of things you could loan People First Stadium for – the only limit is your imagination. Perhaps a child’s birthday party, a wedding, a family gathering for a special occasion, or hold a match for your local team!

Please note, we can’t accept entries for any events that will be commercialised (for example, you cannot advertise your event or offer tickets to your event), and People First Stadium cannot be used for any political purposes.

Who can enter the competition?

Entrants must be 18 or over, and live in Queensland or New South Wales. Only one entry is allowed per person.

How can I use the extra $5,000 cash?

The winner can use the $5,000 to contribute towards the costs of the event. Any costs above the $5,000 cash contribution would need to be covered by the winner. Where relevant, the winner must use People First Stadium’s preferred suppliers when arranging their event (for example, caterers).

If you spend less than $5,000 on the event costs, the remaining amount will not be given to the winner.

If I win, can I take the cash instead of holding an event?

No, the $5,000 contribution is only available for the purposes of the event and is not transferable.

Can my event be held whenever I like?

If you are a winner, the date and time of your event will be subject to availability of People First Stadium facilities. Events must be held after winners have been announced and prior to 31 May 2025.
Your event can be held on a weekend or in the evening, however there will be additional costs you need to consider. These costs can be covered by the $5,000 cash contribution, and might include, but aren’t limited to:

1. Security and staffing;

2. Cleaning;

3. Weekend surcharges for services (e.g. surcharge on catering); and/or

4. Lighting expenses (e.g. Stadium field lighting)

How will my entry be judged?

  1. Creativity;
  2. The appropriateness of the event, taking into account People First Bank’s corporate values; and
  3. The safety and wellbeing of People First Stadium staff and attendees, and the importance of preserving the People First Stadium facilities for other events.

When will I know if I’ve won?

Winners will be notified by phone from Friday, 13 December 2024 using the phone number provided on their application form. The winners will also be notified by email, if an email address has been provided.

The winners will have 7 days to contact People First Bank to discuss their successful application.

Where can I find the full terms and conditions for this competition?
