How to

Use this function to pay your bills from your Heritage accounts via BPAY®, an electronic bill paying service.

Accessible under the BPAY menu.

After selecting BPAY you will be presented with a screen that requires you to enter information including:

  • Which account to take the payment from
  • The biller Code (who the biller is)
  • A biller nickname (optional - for your use only)
  • Customer Reference Number or CRN
  • Option to save the biller to your list of BPAY billers for future transactions
  • The amount to pay
  • Whether you wish to pay the bill now or later

If you choose to perform the payment later you will need to select:

  • First Payment Date (when the first instance of the payment should occur)
  • Select a Frequency from the "Frequency" drop-down menu
  • If you select a frequency other than "Once Only" select how long the scheduled BPAY should continue for (a specific date or indefinitely)
  • Then click the 'Next' button.

Whenever you use BPAY, your account will be debited with the amount to be paid and the funds sent to the biller. If your request is made on any business day after 5:00pm (AEST) or on a weekend or public holiday, the payment will be debited to your account immediately and sent to the biller on the following business day.

Note: It is your responsibility to ensure that BPAY payment amounts are correct at the time a payment request is made. If the amount paid was more than you needed to pay you must notify Heritage so we can take steps to try and obtain a refund of the excess. Please note, obtaining a refund of the excess is not always possible.
